Essie’s hot new summer 2011 collection

As a nail varnish addict, I am delighted to see the arrival of the  Essie Summer 2011 Collection!

The Colour Me Braziliant Collection of six hot new colours that have been inspired by the daring, sexy beaches of Brazil is bang on trend for summer 2011 with its reds and hot pink shades.  These are bikini, beach and summer shades all the way and I can’t wait to try them all!

These are my 3 favourites from the collection that I will be trying first:

  • Essie Braziliant, the collection’s namesake, is a hot orange shade with a touch of shimmer.  If you love to wear bright shades that get you noticed, then this is the one for you! It will look great with your tanned summer skin. If you’re not brave enough to wear on your fingernails it looks just as good on your toenails and will certainly stand out on the beach this summer!
  • Or if you prefer something a little more subtle then Essie Absolutely Shore is a soft foam green shade that again looks great on tanned skin and on both finger and toenails.  This shade is great to experiment with if you tend to stick to the same shades (I must have over 20 different shades of pink in my collection!) and want something a bit different.  It’s subtle but also noticeable and fun!
  • As pink is my favourite nail polish shade to wear I had to include Essie Super Bossa Nova.  An upbeat bright fuchsia shade that screams ‘look at my nails!’ With a fuchsia shimmer that is very apparent it’s a great summer pink with a slight twist.  A fantastic bright shade that looks fab and will see you through the summer months.

As with all Essie Nail Colours the collection are DBP, toluene and formaldehyde free. View the Essie Summer 2011 Collection here and pick your favourite shade.  Happy colouring!
