Father’s Day gift ideas

Stuck for a gift idea for Father’s Day? I was, so I decided to conduct some wholly unscientific research at Bath & Unwind HQ to find out what the girls in the office have bought the men in their lives in the past, and what could they now not live without?

The results made for very interesting reading, and I thought I would share them with you.

I have gleaned two things that seem to be important when buying grooming products for men. They mustn’t feel too girly, including the packaging and branding, and should not be too much effort to use.

Citrus and herby scents proved popular, such as the Korres Basil Lemon range or many of the American Crew products. Dave, one of our directors, named American Crew Citrus Mint Refreshing Body Wash as his favourite product on the whole site. I think showergels and body scrubs are a sure-fire winner if you have the right scent!

Anything in a spritzer or spray is also a great idea, according to our head buyer Emily. She says the men she knows like the novelty element to them and they are also extremely low maintenance. Her boyfriend uses This Works Skin Refining Toner, or you could try ARK Hydrating Toner.

Or, for a complete body and skincare care range, Cowshed Bullocks should tick all the boxes. This starter set provides great value for money and allows Dad to try out a little bit of everything in the range.

So, I’ve narrowed it down. I think I’m going to go for the Bullocks collection because the name will make my Dad giggle like a school boy and as he is doing three triathlons this year for charity, I think he deserves a bit of pampering.

Father’s Day is Sunday 17th June – double check your relevant estimated  delivery time so your gift gets there in time for Sunday, and don’t forget you can put a personal message in with his little treats too!
