Julia’s product swap haul 3: Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus Cleanser

Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus CleanserAs promised, my final goodie review from our office product swap, the new Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus Moisturising Cleanser. If you have read any of my past posts, you know I am always looking for a fabulous facial cleanser. I have sensitive/combo skin, and have a really hard time finding something that I can use twice a day that keeps my skin hydrated and clear.

This new product from Jurlique is a light, creamy cleanser that foams just slightly when lathered. It contains a combination of some of my favourite natural ingredients including rosehip and avocado oils, as well as green tea to protect the skin. It also contains extremely fine pumice, which helps to exfoliate your skin in a non-irritating way.

I have been using this daily since I got it, and have found my skin is fairing much better than it normally does in the summer months. The light rose scent is lovely, not at all heavy or overpowering. After washing my face, the cleanser rinses off very easily and does not leave a residue like some moisturising cleansers will. Instead, my face feels fresh and very clean. The pumice is an added benefit, as it does not irritate my sensitive skin, and allows me to forgo (or at least lessen the frequency of) more harsh exfoliating treatments. I do still use Caudalie S.O.S. Thirst-Quenching Serum and Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet after I wash to combat my oily/dry areas, and because I really like the light scent and feel. They work well under my makeup and the fact that they don’t leave a heavy feel on my face is an added bonus personally.

Overall thoughts: I highly, highly recommend this facial cleanser, in fact I have even bought it for my mother-in-law’s birthday this weekend. If that isn’t a vote of confidence in a product…
