Visiting Cowshed’s Babington House Spa

Babington HouseLast week, Hazel and I visited Cowshed at Babington House Spa in Somerset, the tranquil, rural retreat where the brand was born. It was a beautiful, warm sunny day, perfect for enjoying the countryside surroundings, so it felt strange being there to look at the launch of their fabulous Christmas gift sets for later this year. I will tell you about what we have in store for Christmas at a later date; I think we should enjoy the rest of the summer first before getting festive.

Located in what was formally the working cowshed, the exclusive spa facilities are truly indulgent. The treatment rooms all have large windows looking directly out into the sunny gardens, making any treatment feel even more relaxing. Unfortunately we were only there for a quick meeting, so didn’t have time to enjoy the facilities, (it took every inch of willpower we had not to dive into the inviting outdoor pool). Babington House bath

Cowshed is named for the former occupants of Babington House Spa and the titles of their ranges continue to honour this tradition. They have created a stylish, natural range of therapeutic products, all made in England with unique fragrances. Each product also contains a special herbal infusion grown in the gardens of Babington House. The remaining ingredients are organic, wild crafted botanicals from sustainable sources, with no preservatives or synthetics.

My favourite Cowshed product is the Pocket Cow Bath & Body Set which is a great travel size collection to introduce you to the range, as well as being the perfect size to take away for the summer holidays.

Treat yourself to some Cowshed products, and enjoy a luxury spa experience in the comfort of your own home.
