The best beauty looks from London Fashion Week – Autumn/Winter 2014

Let’s hear it for London! The catwalks of the British capital are reknowned for a little edge and a lot of luxe and as usual inspired us with lots of little twists to refresh your usual look. Here are our favourites.

Coming up roses

Matching your handbag and shoes might be a big no-no but at Burberry Prorsum, Wendy Rowe matched lids and lips with a slick of dusky pink shadow (blended with a touch of liquid highlighter) for a natural, quick and easy style. We love it.

Fringe benefits

Over at Tom Ford, it was all about devil-may-care rather than ‘done’. Stylist Orlando Pita spritzed the models’ barnets with volumising spray but held off on finishing products meaning heavy fringes and sultry tendrils of hair fell artfully against big smoky eyes.

Bat those baby blues

The catwalks were awash with blue, and at Giles the hue (a universally flattering shade reminiscent of Carribean waters) was slicked under the eyes. A neat styling trick that will lift your look well into summer.
