This week we have an exclusive Becca competition for you! Simply ask Becca a beauty question and be in with a chance to win a hamper of Becca goodies worth over £250! Our best questions will be answered on our blog by Rebecca Morrice Williams herself!

Someone once told me “Invest in good make up and you’ll never regret it.”  A few years ago, when I realised my visage needed a little extra help in the mornings I took this advice and the wise cosmetic goddess was indeed correct. Becca is a contemporary cosmetics brand built on the foundations (excuse the pun) of fresh, natural and weightless technology, for every women, every skin type, every season and every look.

I don’t really like wearing make up, but I dread the thought of going out without any on (I’m hearing nods of agreement from all over the country.) Day to day I don’t want to look made up but rather clean and fresh faced as though I have skipped out of the shower applying only a slathering of moisturiser along the way to my desk.  Of course, on special occasions and nights out, I enjoy unleashing the war paint to create a new sexy or edgy look but mostly I just want to look naturally radiant, is that too much to ask?

Most importantly (if you’re on a budget) is the base; a foundation or tinted moisturiser. These make up staples need to have good staying power, be translucent enough so that your facial features are still recognisable and also work on your skin’s condition ( i.e moisturise, purify or reduce wrinkles) whilst doing their primary task of helping to even out your skin tone and cover blemishes.

I recently discovered Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector, my best investment yet! A water based Moisturiser containing SPF 20+, this little wonder contains ultra fine light reflecting particles making the skin appear healthy, glowing and even. It also contains anti oxidant vitamins A, B, D and E to aid tissue repair and increase collagen renewal. The shimmer is subtle enough to make you glow, rather than twinkle.

For lighter complexions and in winter months try Pearl or Opal, or darker skin or for holidays opt for Topaz.
