As you may have previously read in other Bath & Unwind blog posts, recently we were all given a small allowance to get each other some gifts from Bath & Unwind and my, my, weren’t we all spoilt! Luckily, Lizzie drew my name from the hat (which I was very pleased about as I knew Lizzie’s quirky nature wouldn’t let me down), and as luck would have it, I drew her name! As you can see from the picture below, I was given a whole heap of lovely things – and I hope Lizzie was chuffed with her products too!

The one product that I (and all the other girls here at Bath & Unwind HQ) was super-duper excited about was Butter London’s newest creation –  Lippy in Trout Pout. Within seconds of receiving it, Emily and I had it smothered all over our lips – and don’t we just love it! Butter London have created this range of lip glosses to match some of their most popular nail laquers; Snog, Teddy Girl, Trout Pout, Yummy Mummy and Primrose Hill Picnic. We all know fashion’s age-old, no.1 rule: Your favourite boots and handbag should match. Well, I think Butter London have taken this idea to a whole new level and I love it! I think the idea of having your lipstick and nail colour matching is super sophisticated – and I really hope the trend catches on again!

I tend to find that lip glosses have a danger of not giving much colour, and can sometimes look like a shiny gloss with a hint of colour. Not this little beauty, though! As you can see in the picture (I already have a bright pink lipstick on from this morning, so I put some on my hand so you can see the true colour), this lip gloss gives out a bright and intense colour that looks like you have a lipstick on, whilst giving the shine and shimmer of a gloss.

If this colour isn’t for you, then there is a whole host of others available; the next on my list to buy is Teddy Girl along with the nail laquer – so that I can match my lips and nails in more than one colour!
