We write many nail colour/nail art related posts on here and you may or may not have noticed that none of them are posted by me! Well, it’s because I am lazy, so very lazy when it comes to my nails and I rarely paint them.
Fake tan, face mask, cellulite cream… I manage to find the time most nights for all of these things but my nails more often than not look like they belong to a small grubby child. Which, as a soon to be 29 year old, is a little bit embarrassing, especially in my line of work.

So anyway, probably one of the loveliest parts of my job is getting invited to product launches. We get to meet the names and faces behind the brands and share in their passion for new products and innovation.
At the launch for the OPI Spring/Summer Euro Centrale Collection recently, myself and Hazel were so honoured to meet Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, the executive vice president and artistic director of OPI. Suzi just radiated love for her brand which seemed to rub off on everyone attending the event.

The Euro Centrale launch and Suzi’s presentation really helped me appreciate the creative and fun element of painting my nails; it made me realise what a fantastic form of expression it is, and how it’s really an extension of my outfit.
I was very lucky to have the most amazing OPI professional manicure that lasted chip free for well over a week. I chose I saw…U saw…We saw…Warsaw with Polka.com over the top. This collection is by far my favourite since we started stocking OPI. All the colours are so wearable and, if this blossoming relationship between me and my nails, is still going strong, I might even invest in the mini pack when it is released next February.
