Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues
The eagerly awaited sequel hits screens on December 20th and by the beard of Zeus! Mr Ron Burgundy is looking like this year’s unlikely style icon. Call us crazy but we rather fancy channelling an opulent wine-coloured trouser suit – we’ll just spin it with some super high heels and a little bling. Perfect office party attire – though we’ll be leaving the tie and cardigan to Mr Ferrell.
Updos + earrings
Trying to get ready for festive drinks whilst stuck at your desk, or with little ones intent on distracting you, can be a bit of a hassle. Think of this as your fail-safe style tweak. A mussy updo is instantly chic AND simple to do – check out Scarlett Johansson for a masterclass in the look and get busy with a hair band and a quick spritz of Joico JoifFix Medium Hold Spray. Done in 30 seconds flat. Add a pair of your favourite sparklers (we love this pair from Kenneth Jay Lane, £62) and you’ve got a serious statement look going.
Deck the halls…
Now that it’s actually December, Christmas decorating can begin in earnest. We’re a little bit in love with these gorgeous beauty baubles that turn out on closer inspection to contain a little treat too! Decleor’s Aroma Pomander or This Works’ Sleep Balm Beauty Ball will brighten up any tree.
Heston plays Willy Wonka
We spent last year wrestling our way through the Waitrose crowds to bag a Hidden Orange Christmas Pudding and, as if a raft of new recipes wasn’t exciting enough (who could resist Christmas Pudding Ice Cream and Earl Grey Stollen?). Five lucky people will find special tickets hidden away in this year’s Chocolate Box – the prize? A day in Heston’s experimental kitchen, trying out recipes with the man himself PLUS a meal at his Hind’s Head pub AND Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. Time for one of those exta-large trolleys!
Christmas jumpers
Friday the 13th is getting a festive makeover courtesy of Save the Children. They’ve designated it Christmas Jumper Day – they want you to wear your woolly winter best to work and donate £1 that will go towards helping save young lives around the world. Samantha Cameron is leading the way (looking exceedingly stylish in the process) and Bath & Unwind will be following suit (or should that be jumper?) with our own array of knitted wonders. What a brilliant way to feel warm and snuggly!
Santa Baby…
Been an angel all year? You deserve a little spoiling! If you’ve got a Bath & Unwind account just log in, fill your wish list with festive treats and then sneakily leave it open on the screen for would-be present buyers to see.
