As I’ve grown older, I have realised that my skincare needs have changed, as have the products that I use. From smearing cheap makeup on my face during my experimental teens, to spending a ridiculous amount on cosmeceuticals in my early 20s, I have now stepped away from both of these and am leaning towards natural skincare more and more. Gone are the days of buying makeup or skincare solely because it looks pretty.
One of the first products I converted to is Trilogy Rosehip Oil. I’m from New Zealand, as is Trilogy, so I had already heard of this brand and knew they had a great reputation with a commitment to sustainability. On a personal note, I often miss New Zealand, so it’s lovely to have something homely on my dressing table that I use every day.
When I started using this product I had combination skin, being very oily in my T-zone and dry on my jawline. Every day I wore a heavy foundation to cover red marks and patches on my cheeks. After a few weeks of use, the redness calmed and healed and my skin has balanced out. It now feels smoother and it is definitely less prone to what were regular break outs. I can now get away with just wearing a very light layer of tinted moisturiser (I use Korres Colour Watermelon Lightweight Tinted Moisturiser SPF30 in Light Sand).
Considering I highly recommend Trilogy Rosehip Oil, I’m quite excited to see that Triology have brought out Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +. What’s the difference? Rosehip Oil Antioxidant + contains super antioxidants. So this product is my favourite classic Trilogy Rosehip Oil, enhanced with lycopene from tomato seed oil and phytosterol from acai, to help protect the skin from premature ageing caused by the environment. Added omega 3, 6 and 9 from cranberry and rosehip also moisturise and renew the skin.
Trilogy had a pop-up greenhouse in Wellington, New Zealand to promote the launch of Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +.
I hope you will all try out Trilogy products, and either the Trilogy Rosehip Oil or the Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +. They really are a great, natural way to help fix your skin issues.
